   I wouldn’t take it. Studies have shown mixed results, but it’s possible that Remifemin (black cohosh) can have the same effects as estrogen and cause vaginal, uterine, or breast changes. It caused liver disease in some patients. Also, it hasn’t shown to be particularly effective in relieving moods swings or hot flashes. So, I wouldn’t use it.
