Why am I so sensitive to heat?

??? asked:

The second I go outside I get a headache that lasts all day, if I fall asleep and the room is hotter than 65 F I wake up with a headache. It doesn’t matter how much water I drink or how many pills I take, the headache won’t go away. When I walk to the bus stop two blocks away from my house I’ll start sweating and my head will hurt, even when it’s around 70 degrees. If I’m taking a shower and the water is hotter than lukewarm my head will hurt for about an hour. If I’m in a room and the fan isn’t on my head will hurt. When I’m straightening my hair my head will hurt.

Where I live it is usually around 80-90 degrees.

Again, I am sensitive to heat, not the sun. And I don’t have hyperthyroidism, nor am I going through menopause/perimenopause. I’m 15.
I woke up with a headache today.
I don’t take pills. I hate them. I meant if I take two pills they won’t work.
I’ve never had heat stroke.

so sorry to hear that! I would have guessed something to do with thyroid, but if you have had it checked, then I don’t know.
Go get a second opinion from another doctor

Your sinsitivity is just because you are you!
Also you have different molucules and skin cells than me or a surfer. Surfers are in the sun a lot…

Maybe you were born a snow elf raised by humans. Or, maybe you’re a vampire and prefer the cold, cool comfort of a grave or crypt.

Sounds like you may have had … suffered from heat stroke. Thinks back to when this all started… .. If you had even a mild heat stroke this could impact your bodies ablitlity to deal with heat for several years…

i beleive you have a heat intolerence …also it may help if you didnt take so many pills…they can ruin the liver, and those are hard to get once their gone, so if i were you id quit the pills and possibly take a cheap , small mechanical fan where ever you go, maybe even a small water spritzer with ice-cold water in it.
    i hope it helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am going for a thyroid operation soon, because mine is a serious problem. Like you i am sensitive to heat but i also pass out and get stressed or angry with the heat. Ask your doctor, i expect theyll ask for a blood test and may start you on tablets for the thyroid, do not worry though nothing they will do will hurt you.

Maybe you should go to a Dr. and get checked it can be a serious condition and shouldn’t ignore it. It’s better to be safe than have to regret it and wondering why you never asked a dr. anything. Don’t take too many pills because it can do liver damage to you. Hope everything is good with you. Take care
