   Not at all … the ‘emotional changes’ are due to having ‘far fewer or no hormones’ for ‘reproduction’ and can’t be linked to ‘social-environmental variables’ at all. It may be that you ‘think’ they can be ‘linked’ because of so many women who ‘went insane’ around menopause in the ‘old days’ … but that was because nobody actually knew much about ‘what was happening in the body’ and they just ‘assumed’ that the woman went ‘crazy’ for some reason.
