Menopause?

godlovesjacob asked:

I still experience PMS problems, sometimes with a period and sometimes without. This week I really feel quite funky, is this normal? I am so tired and feel bloated like a watermelon! Can anyone recommend a website that I can get alot of information in regards to symptoms? I have looked some up, but did not really receive the information that I was searching for. I also am having a hard time with work, because I feel so dittzy all the time and am embarrassed that it takes me so long to process information. How long is this going to last? Is there hope that I will be back to normal again, or is the brain fog going to last til the day I leave this earth? Help?
Please don’t tell me that this is old age lol. I can’t imagine living this way for many more years!

Increase the soy in your diet. I love the chocolate silk milk but it is $1.00 cheaper with the wal mart brand. It tastes the same. Also try to use some soy flour in your cooking if possible. I no longer have hot flashes since I started drinking 1 glass of soy milk a day. You can’t taste the soy at all.

I had menopausal experiences after female surgery and it scared the heck out of me. But it was nice to see what I had to look forward too!

Hot sweats one minute, cold two seconds later. I would wake up in the middle of the night and my sheets would be soaked from sweat and I had a fan pointed directly on me. Dizziness…occasional loss of peripheral vision etc…Jeez…

I don’t know if you’ve tried webmd, but I find this site very helpful.

    GOOD LUCK !

Do you remember what it was like when you were 13ish and started getting periods? Random times, random flow, mood swings, lethargy, etc…

Same thing but backwards. Same mood swings, same random flow and dates, same lethargy, sometimes even acne comes back. give it a few years, it’ll go away. Just like during puberty, it takes a few years for your body to even itself out again but it’ll get there so just grin and bare it and be patient.
