Leading an unhealthy life will encourage early menopause. Smoking is known to accelerate menopause, chemotherapy and certain other drugs not to mention radiotherapy can trigger it and it is known that earlier menopause often occurs in lower socio economic groups as nature decides that these women are not healthy enough to remain fertile.

Hysterectomy will throw you into instant menopause, but why would you want to?
A loss of estrogen or getting your tubes tied may also do this.
Weight gain goes with menopause, so if you were exercising and eating too little all that would happen is you’d keep your waistline and possibly become malnourished.
