I had a hysterectomy 17 yrs ago at age 28. Bloodwork shows I’m just starting to go thru menopause. Is this ok?
scooby doo asked:
I thought that the blood work would had shown that I was midstream or at least almost done with the menopausal cycle. Does this mean the hot flashes, night sweats, and moodswings are all going to start backup?
oh, by the way I am 46 now.

menopause
I doubt that the symptoms will return, your body has already adjusted to the change in hormones. You don’t mention if you had your ovaries removed but with the symptoms you have already mentioned you had I would assume that you have. Menopause is a change in all types of hormones, due to the drop in estrogen and progesterone, and the bodies natural aging process.

Create a video blog…instantly.
please be careful ,you are at the right age for a Dr. to try to put you on a med for your bones, DONT TAKE ANY OF THEM , they are causing us women all kinds of problems, the FDA is going to take another look at all these meds, this year, check out askapatient.com,for boniva, fosamax lawsuits, is another place, these meds are causing jaw rot in some ,crippling pain in some of us , mine was the boniva , & it almost crippled me. the Dr. will say they never heard of this, but that is not true, Roche, the drug co ,issued a warning in Feb of 2007 , to the Drs. so PLEASE research for yourself. good luck.
