How long until my period is regular, and when does menopause happen?
Sweet Revenge asked:
I hate that my period’s irregular! I always think that I’m fine and then I go and bleed all over my underwear at school when I can’t just change them and wash them, and the blood sets in. I’ve had my period for just over a year, so I know that it can still be bouncing around, but for how long?
And around what age does menopause occur? On second thought, what is menopause exactly?

Depends, my period has always been irregular and it still is, and I’ve had my period for 6 years. I’m on birth control pills now and I pretty much know exactly when I get my period. Menopause usually happens around late 40′s and into the 50′s? Menopause is just when you don’t menstruate anymore.

My period was irregular for years. You just need to keep a back up pad or tampon in your purse. Whenever you feel like its coming, like suddenly feeling really wet, go to the bathroom and check!
Menopause is in your 50s or 60s. Its when you stop ovulating, and your hormone levels change. You don’t get you period anymore, but most women get hot flashes and other symptoms.

2-5 years until the period is regular. and menopause hits around the 50′s. it’s when your periods stop and your body temp. is hard to control, and you get hot flashes and are officially OLD!!

two years. but you can help your period to balance out a little by eating healthy food and being fit.
but if you’re having missed periods or irregular amounts through days, that cannot be dealt with, it is just normal
