I was told by my doctor that women and men go into menopause around age 50. Those women who have reproductive parts removed or even part of a reproductive organ removed would start into menopause after their operation. Menopause lasts about 10 years (during which time your body changes, so if you’ve been taking say basic vitamin pills then you’d need to change over to a senior’s version of vitamins which vitamin pill will then continue to supply you with what your body needs at your new age).

Good question.
Although there are no definite answers to your first question, I was told by a GYN that it can begin in some women as early as 30. Scary thought.
For men, I have no clue, I’ll wait to see what answers you get though.
