Sure. Any extra hormones can make you moody. And the patch has more than oral contraceptives.

i believe it’s possible because it has approximately 60% more estrogen than the pills, or at least this is what i read about it…u really should talk to your gyn…I wasthinking about switchingto the patch myself can u tell me if u experienced any side effects yet? I’d really appreciate it. Good luck!

It did for me. I took it for a year. I will never take that infernal thing again. It also ate horrible holes in my skin and made my breasts hurt worse than when I was pregnant.

It did for me and migraines and low sex drive! That’s why I switched.

Ortho Evra really worked for me. I stopped having such painful periods and my skin was really clear. My periods were very light and lasted about 4 days. I didn’t have problems with mood swings or getting sick.
