Do those moodswings ever end?
Meredith asked:
I´m really cranky at the moment. I just feel like screaming at everyone. It feels like I´m in an emotional rollercoaster, I don´t really feel like I have any control over it anymore.. Will it be like this the entire pregnancy??

I asked the same question the other day. I was feeling pretty down, because I hate feeling grumpy and irratated. But, the last few days have been a lot better. It comes and goes and unfortunately there isn’t much you can do. Yeah it will be through the whole pregnancy. Be sure to eat good foods, and drink lots of water. Caffeine and sugar can make your hormones worse. Explain to your family how you are feeling also, so they know not to take it personal.

It will but it will calm down a bit. In the last 2 weeks you get this very calm, accepting feeling. Then the first couple weeks it will be a hormonal roller coaster but, then it should subside until the next time. Good luck!

Well, that’s a good possibility. I was ALL OVER THE PLACE emotionally while pregnant. As a matter of fact, my daughter is 7 weeks old, and I am STILL a meanie sometimes. What I had to do was step back and take a look at the situation and ask myself, am I really mad at this situation or this person, or am I just cranky? If you find you don’t have any real reason to be upset, I would take like 15 minutes, go lay down on your bed and relax or sit in a chair outside, and just breathe (weather & loud neigbors permitting), just get somewhere alone and relax. I found this extremely helpful when I was mad at my boyfriend for no reason, he was really good to me while I was pregnant.

Typically you will have up and down days. The down days can be just unreal (believe me I know) and the up days are fabulous. Its like having PMS for 9 months. It comes and goes throughout the pregnancy.

I’m wondering the same thing. At work it’s difficult for me to keep my moods to myself. Anything anyone says to me makes me want to tell them “JUST SHUT THE FU%# UP!”. Everyone annoys me now.
