I really am not sure but I don't think so because my cat bred the whole time I had her till she dies of old age.

Yes they do. Different ages in different countries. They are a little older in Canada --- exchange rate is better there than US.

Remember don't let your spayed cat use your sewing machine.

Reason, they don't mend straight .

Unlike humans, female cats do not have a menopause and remain fertile throughout their lives (unless neutered of course). As they age, their litters tend to become smaller (1-2 kittens instead of 3+) and less frequent and are less likely to be reared successfully. Although they continue to mate, they may always not conceive. Likewise, elderly tomcats are still capable of impregnating females but may be less fertile.

My aunt had a cat - Snowball - who had at least one litter of kittens a year until she was about 13, at least they'd had her for 13 years. Don't know her exact age as my uncle found her at his work and brought her home with him - she was already full grown and pregnant.

Wel if their spayed, definitely not since they don't even menstruate. But I would assume that they do eventually stop ovulating just as a human would.
