May 06 terrible summer I felt lots of sweating and irritation which caused small eruptions and was healed with the nycil powder. later in june-july i noticed some black pigmentation around my neck and hands (only parts exposed to sun) and i thought it was the after effect of the the sun. applied sandalwood paste and turmeric and cleaning with milk to bring back the colour of the skin . nothing worke out. so i started using Lacto Calamine as my mom said that will give best effect. that also faied. local dermatologist. Dermatology questions are exceedingly diffucult to answer simply because we cannot see the skin as part of your question. Also, you are using creams and pastes that are probably only familiar to your locale. Look up acanthosis nigricans; is this what you have? If so, you may want to be tested for diabetes, as this is a sign of insulin resistance and thus would not respond to creams or pastes. Otherwise, you should realize that the perimenopausal symptoms may be coincidental.
