At what age did you notice you weren’t young and invincible anymore?

For me, 44 was my last really good year of feeling healthy. Ever since then, it’s been downhill fast… aches and pains, maladies, perimenopause… aging sucks.

    I’m almost 20, so I’m still in the young part, but I realized I wasn’t invincible when two of my classmates were killed in a drunk-driving accident in high school.

    I have had Addison’s disease since I was 30 years old, but felt reasonably healthy and active until I was about 60 because as we age, more little things come along. I try to stay as active as I can, hiking, playing on the Wii (running and bowling are my favorite) I am 67 now and have more conditions, but enjoy life and getting out and being as active as I can. It might be time to see a physician to see if you have anything else. Good luck and many well wishes to you.

    I stopped being invincible in my mid twenties, that’s when I quit drinking,
    I stopped feeling young in my mid thirties, that’s when my son started high school,
    Today I’m fifty, I’m not young or invincible, but I don’t feel old either.,,,well maybe a little when I first wake up.
