Am I going through mental disorder? Pls help?
paradkarom asked:
Am I going through mental disorder? I am 50 year old man, lost my job two years ago and now a full time father. Six months ago it happened first time when my 14 year old son was ill. I was perhaps stressed. In the midnight, the pain around neck travelled to brain and settled to the right side. A pricking kind of sensation. It lasted for an hour. Next day too the same happened. Then I was going through some anxiety attacks and was becoming too emotional and insecure and always had a feeling that anytime I can die and life is meaningless. Some times too much confusion in brain, some wieard memories come out and I felt too depressed. Sometimes feel I will go mad soon in life. It all the time happened in the night time. Doctors said nothing to worry. I thought a scan could help. But they said not required. I don’t drink, don’t smoke. I am confused with my life. Or is it man menopause symptoms? I am having normal sex life too. I am trying to control the symtoms but still confised. Pls help

Ask your doctors for a referral to a psychiatrist or neurologist. There may not be anything physical to worry about, but you are experiencing depression and anxiety and there is no need for you to feel this way as good help is available.
Some men do have a type of menopause it is believed, but frankly, what you described would not be it.

It sounds like anxiety and maybe some depression. You have had ( it sound like ) some big changes in your life over the last few years and it can cause a lot changes in our bodies as well. talk to you Doctor and see what he or she says. Mean while get out and try to have fun not matter how you feel. You still have a long life a head. Live it to the fullest. I do agree with you a scan couldn’t hurt anything and you would feel much better knowing that every thing is O.K Good Luck and God Bless
